Program Overview

The Industrial Engineering Department offers the master’s program in Data Analytics Intelligence (MIAD). The MIAD’s goal is to train professionals following the intersection of three areas of knowledge: mathe-matical modeling, information technology and business management. Students learn through courses that balance theory and practice, computational methods for data management, case studies and classroom debates, multimedia simulations and the application of descriptive, predictive and prescriptive models. If you are thinking about being an in-depth data analyst and a leader in decision making processes where business management skills and quantitative analysis are vital, the UniAndes MIAD is the place to continue your professional development. MIAD graduates will occupy positions similar to chief analytics officer, data scientist analytics, data consultant, mining analyst, financial analyst, marketing analyst, business intelli-gence analyst, database administrator, human resources analyst, systems analyst, among others.

MIAD is offered in Spanish and 100% online. Students receive the same quality standards that are offered in on-campus programs. Seeing that it is offered as an online master's degree, students have the flexibility to learn when and where they want; so, they can work full time and continue their professional career.
