DISTINGUISHED ALUMNUS AWARD

Los profesores Andrés Medaglia y Camilo Gómez, el instructor Felipe Pulido y los estudiantes doctorales Karla Parra, Maria Alejandra Wilches, y Samuel Rodriguez, presentaron parte de sus proyectos de investigación en la conferencia trianual IFORS (International Federation of Operational Research Societies) en Santiago, Chile.

Esta conferencia reúne a expertos en la investigación de operaciones. En esta oportunidad, la conferencia se enfocó en analítica avanzada para el desarrollo mundial. Nuestros representantes del departamento tuvieron una notable participación en los grupos de transporte sostenible, desarrollo de infraestructura, desarrollo agrícola, ruteo y empaquetamiento, y desarrollo de energías alternativas.

•Andrés Medaglia recibió el “Distinguished Alumnus Award” por parte del Industrial and Systems Engineering Department de North Carolina State University.

"This award is the highest honor that the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department can give our alumni. It is awarded to those who deserve special recognition for notable contributions to their profession, community and the department."
