Industrial Engineer, master of industrial engineering, and PhD, in Engineering from the Universidad de los Andes.
Felipe Montes is interested in solving real world problems using the paradigm for Complex Systems applying analytics, modeling and computing simulation methods; specially using social network analysis. He is a researcher with experience as a professor, manager and consultant in the health and higher education sectors.
Felipe is member of Organizational Systems Theory (TESO) research group, Affiliate member of the Epidemiology Group (EpiAndes) of the Universidad de los Andes, Affiliate member of the Onnela Lab of the Department of Biostatistics, Public Health School at the University of Harvard, Recently director of Quality for Higher Education of the Ministry of Education of Colombia, Felipe has been visiting scholar in the University of Harvard and in the University of Barcelona. He has been consultant for the Ministry of Education of Peru.
